DESERT BBQ

Sinai is a very fascinating desert, with mountains, canyons, sand dunes, dry, carved waterfalls and river beds. Sometimes we take a break from the stunning water to enter the silence of the desert. We go to Wadi Gnai, a deep canyon oasis 10km south of town. We drive there with Jeeps and our Beduin guide will cook us a delicious BBQ dinner in one of the smaller canyons, while we're walking around for a while looking at the spectacular scenery. During winter you can see water oozing from the cracks in the mountains. Back at the "camp place" we'll eat a delisious beduine dinner around the fireplace while looking at the shooting stars, satellites and maybe UFO... Price: 19€ per person, including the transportation.

DESERT TRIPS

If you want to have a day off from Freediving, or if other family members rather stay on land than hold their breath and get wet, we recommend you to do a day trip in the stunning Sout Sinai desert. You will travel by Land Cruiser to several beautiful sights. You will walk through Small Canyon, Closed Canyon, visit the Mushroom Stone and drive through sand dunes. Lunch will be served in the Baduin oasis of Ain Hodra. After lunch you will do the last walk of the day, through White Canyon. You will be amazed to see what a big veriaty of landscapes the desert can offer. Price: 45€ per person, including lunch. Minimum 4 people

FREEDIVING IN RAS MOHAMED

Ras Mohamed is a big stunning marine national park situated south west of Sharm el Sheikh at
around 100 km from Dahab. We leave early in the morning and drive there in a minivan, reaching the National Park in just about 1 hour. We dive off the shore of Shark Observatory and have fun in the shallow cave for a while. Then we start swimming along the coast hoping to see some big fish. Confident freedivers can dive deeper along the wall, while beginners can do shallower dives and
still not miss any of the colorful marine life. We have a lunch break on the beach under a tent, and
have a little rest in the shade before diving again. For the next dive we launch off Yolanda Reef, and
we can explore the many shallow and deeper caves hidden in the reef table. Price: 55€ including
lunch, park entry fee and at least one FDD team member as freediving guide.
Minimum 4 people.
